Running vs Treadmill
Nothing is better than cross country running for your cardo... but for second choice a treadmill will give you good cardo workout benefits as well. Do interval training after 15 min warm up & your sure to burn some good fat off. Do 20 min of 1.5 min high intensity running at 8.0 or higher, then 1 min of fast walking at 4.5-5.0 or what feels right for you. Before the min is up start running as you increase the speed to 8.0 & keep repeating this sequence till the 20 min is up. It will kick your Okole good!
I prefer the freedom of running cross country including lots of hills for a great leg, and bum workout..Intervals on the treadmill are a great way to trick your body & muscles if you are looking for something different or just to change things up. Keep changing your cardo around like your weight workouts and you and your muscles will never get board. Better yet you will continue to make gains in making your body the best it can be...
