Omg... So, so sore today from my hill run in the rain yesterday. My body feels as if it's on fire today! Today is going to be a rest day.. A time to train hard & a time to let your body, and muscle repair.
Today's diet ~
1 can water packed tuna w/celery & teaspoon mayo
1 foot long - bread hollowed out BLT w/ avocado.. No mayo! 1diet pepsi
Water, water & more water... =)
Good Fat / Bad Fat
When restricting your diet you need to remember that your body needs some fat to stay healthy. If you restrict your fat too much your skin, hair and other parts will suffer greatly. Preferably healthy fat like avocado, olives, nuts and lean meat. Not saturated fats. so if you use mayo on your sandwich or mixed in your tuna? Use very, very little just to moisten. Mustard or avocado are good replacements for mayo. Avocado alone is so very yummy & very good for you too!
Flax seed oil
When I was competing and my diet was so very restricted not even a teaspoon of mayo or avocado was allowed. Too keep my body, my skin and hair from suffering I would buy Flax seed oil from the health food store and take a table spoon of it everyday. Flax seed is so good for you, and flax seed oil is great to keep your body oiled so your skin, hair and other parts won't wont pay the price for your strict diet. Note: Refrigerate your flax seed oil.
