" Eat Well"

Arugula Parmesan Salad

1/2 pound  fresh Arugula (3 large bunches)

LEMON VINAIGRETTE:


1/4 cup  freshly squeezed Lemon juice (2 lemons)

1/2 cup  olive oil (or try Oils of Aloha garlic Macadamia nut oil)

1/2 teaspoon  Kona sea salt

1/4 teaspoon  freshly ground black pepper

Shaved Parmigiano, about 1/2 cup

Directions

If the arugula has roots attached, cut them off. Fill the sink with cold water and toss the arugula for a few minutes to clean. Spin-dry the leaves and place them in a large bowl.

For the Lemon Vinaigrette: In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, Kona sea salt, and pepper. Pour enough dressing on the arugula to moisten. Toss well and place the salad on individual plates.

With a very sharp knife or a vegetable peeler, shave the Parmesan into large shards and arrange them on the arugula.

It's 100% REAL!!!

Per so many requested on the size of my little ole Bicep "Gunz" I finally measured this baby. Just as I predicted on just eyeing it and guessing, I figured at least 15" and it is just that 15" from the Bicep peak to the Tricep peak.

It's real, no photoshop as my video l posted last week proved that. 15" of Hard Ass work that's all...  -II--II-

1. Up Right Rows (Olympic Bar) 8x10-12 #65lbs-#70lbs 

2. Seated Side Dumbbell Laterals 4x12 #22.5lbs   

3. Standing Front Alternating Dumbbell Raises 4x15 #22.5lbs  

4. Walking Lunges holding #50lb  plate over head. 6x20

5. Seated Wall Squats while doing front lateral raises w/#15lbs 5x25 (holding squats 2min after performing each laterals set).

1. Seated Arnold Dumbbell Press 4x12 #25lbs 

2. One-Arm Dumbbell Up-Right Rows. 4x12 #25lbs

3. Abs: Scissors off end of flat bench (lower ab work) 4x25 #superset with V-Ups 4x25

Cardio: Stair Climber 30min.

"Sneek Peek"

Sneak peek of my hard ass work for the past three years when I decided to compete again. I wanted to do this not only for myself, but in honor of me beloved husband who I lost tragically 15 years ago this June 17th. He would of wanted nothing more than for me to continue on, yet losing him as I did caused more pain then I ever expected or felt in my life. He was ALWAYS there for every competition, photo shoot, supported hours of my training and stood proudly next to me, and that meant more than any win or any trophy. I was able to do what I did because he believed in me and loved me.

I love you Kenny and this competition will be in your honor and memory of what an AMAZING man, father and husband you were.  Xox

Leaning Down!


Our lower half, especially for a woman is the last place the fat leaves when you're dieting down. On rare occasions it's the opposite, but it's how women are made. So, tell tale signs that you're really leaning down is when you begin seeing more definition in your legs, lower abs and glute, hamstring tie in. Our weakest part will hold on to the fat the longest, so once you figure out what part of your body that is for you, you'll be able to tell when you're body fat is truly at it's lowest.#fighterdiet -III-III-
